I’ve read a number of articles from a variety of news organizations that have caused me to scratch my head and wonder how things became so topsy turvy in the news media that they find themselves completely incapable of reporting the truth, or using common sense while attempting to report their completely perverted version of the truth. Let’s look at the Israeli/Hamas conflict as an example:
Former U.S. president Jimmy Carter said on ForeignPolicy.com, “There is no humane or legal justification for the way the Israeli Defense Forces are conducting this war,” they wrote. “Israeli bombs, missiles, and artillery have pulverized large parts of Gaza, including thousands of homes, schools, and hospitals.”
What Carter neglects to mention is that Israel notifies these places in advance and advises the people to leave because the place is going to be bombed. Yeah, he very conveniently left that out. Hamas is a terrorist organization. They are populated by terrorists. Hamas terrorists commit crimes on a daily basis, including firing thousands of rockets into Israel on a daily basis. They kidnap Israelis, including the three teenagers that they brutally murdered which triggered this latest conflict. They produce suicide bombers to blow themselves up in populated Israeli areas. But Jimmy Carter, a raging liberal, wants to legitimize Hamas. Why the love for the terrorists President Carter?
Now let’s take a look at Connor Williams over at CNN. He complains that Israel’s Iron Dome gives them an unfair advantage over Hamas . . . “But what the Iron Dome does is it also takes away all of Hamas’s military leverage which is very different than say, 10 years ago or 15 years ago in other wars like Lebanon, et cetera. As a result, it not only serves a defensive purpose but de facto serves an offensive purpose. It allows Israel to essentially assault and siege Gaza without any retribution or response on the other side. So again, to some extent, they are not just funding defense, they are funding an offensive war and ultimately an occupation. That for me, is the problem.”
Again, I have to ask. Why the unnatural love for terrorists and the complaints about our ally, Israel? Does Mr. Williams support the kidnapping of those three Israeli teenagers whose families continue to grieve their loss? Does Mr. Williams support the thousands of bombs fired by Hamas at Israel a year, which is why the Iron Domes were put in place? Does Mr. Williams side with Hamas, the terrorists?
The Daily KOS’ Timaeus laments Israel’s defense of its borders and citizens, accusing them of biological warfare, using Al Jazeera as their only source.
Let’s face facts. If Palestine and Hamas a.k.a. Palestinian terrorists put down their weapons and decided to live in peace with Israel, war would stop and peace would spread across the land. If Israel were to lay down their weapons, they would be wiped from the face of the earth. Liberals can scream and cry this is a lie, but it isn’t. It is from Palestine, Iran, Iraq, Syria, and the variety of terrorist organizations who have stated that they must wipe Jews and Christians from the earth. They are filthy in their descriptions of Jews and Israel simply does what it must to survive.
Again I am scratching my head wondering why liberals are siding with terrorists? Why would they do such a thing? Why would they ask for the legitimizing of said terrorists? I have no answers except we are looking at a complete cessation of common sense and an unhealthy hatred toward America and our allies. I don’t understand it. I can’t explain it. It is the antithesis of all America used to stand for, so good luck trying to figure it out. And may I say, if you let common sense rule your thoughts and words, you’ll do just fine. If you find yourself defending terrorists? Then it’s time for an intervention and pray really hard you get your head screwed on straight.
