Ambassador John Bolton endorses and contributes to four Republican primary candidates for elected office in 2016. The John Bolton PAC will donate $5,000 to the campaigns of Reps. Tom Reed (NY-23), Elise Stefanik (NY-21), John Katko (NY-24), and Martha McSally (AZ-7) to ensure the candidates have the necessary resources to win their upcoming primary races. All four candidates also received backing from the PAC in the 2014 election cycle. The support is in addition to Bolton’s March endorsements of three GOP primary  candidates.

Bolton is committed to supporting candidates for elected office who believe in protecting the United States’ vital freedoms at home by securing American interests in a challenging world. The John Bolton PAC will do so through contributions in primary and general election  contests.

“These representatives are committed to ensuring that strong American foreign policy is at the forefront of the Republican Party and Congress,” Bolton said. “It is a priority of mine to ensure they win their primary and general elections so they can continue to provide leadership in Washington on issues surrounding national  security.”

During the 2014 election cycle the John Bolton PAC and John Bolton SuperPAC collectively raised over $7.5 million, endorsed 87 Republican candidates across the country and contributed more than $470,000 to candidates who demonstrated commitment to strong national security policy. Additionally, the SuperPAC executed an extensive $5 million digital ad campaign that was implemented in 14 states, including robust efforts in New Hampshire, Iowa, Arkansas, and North  Carolina.

“In 2014 my PAC and Super PAC moved the dial on national security especially within the Republican Party,” Bolton said. “I’ll continue to lead on foreign policy as it is yet again at the center of the debate, and will be a core issue in the 2016 presidential  election.”
