NASA will showcase four demonstrations of its technologies now available for licensing at TechBreakfast, a monthly event in the Washington area, at 7:45 a.m. EDT Friday, June 10.
Event registration is now closed, however, media interested in covering the event should contact Gina Anderson atgina.n.anderson@nasa.gov or 202-358-1160 with their name, media affiliation and email address by noon Thursday, June 9.
This month’s event will take place at the University of Maryland Startup Shell, located at 387 Technology Drive, College Park, Maryland. NASA’s Technology Transfer Program Executive Dan Lockney will make a keynote speech about the space agency’s technology transfer portfolio and entrepreneurship opportunities. Lockney also will be available to speak with media immediately following his speech.
These remarks will be followed by a panel discussion with representatives of companies that have successfully leveraged NASA technology in their businesses, including Sigma Space Corp, designAmerica, TEDCO, and others.

- Molecular absorber coatings
- Graphene Sensors
From NASA’s Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia:
- SansEC – embedding using clothes
- Adaptive Fidelity Shell – Simulation tool for damage in composites
