The Center Group wishes to congratulate His Excellency John Magufuli on his election as the next President of the United Republic of Tanzania on behalf of the Contractors Association of Tanzania (CATA), the Contractors Association of Tanzania Savings and Credit Cooperative Society Ltd. (CATA-SACCOS), and the Contractors Association of Dar es Salaam.
The Center Group extends the new President and the Tanzanian people its best wishes as they embark upon this new phase in the country’s history. Tanzania has shown remarkable economic resilience with a 7-percent annual rate of economic growth and abounds with opportunities for the future.
The Center Group has embarked on private sector development in Tanzania and is excited to be working as the exclusive representative of the Tanzanian contractors associations listed above on the national level outside of Tanzania. The Center Group looks forward to helping foster business expansion and infrastructure development in Tanzania over the coming years.
The Center Group is assisting these associations in raising financing through private sources, governmental sources, and international financial institutions and in securing exports from the United States and other markets to equip the contractors and satisfy the market demand. As part of this effort, The Center Group is recruiting U.S. companies and international entities with the aim of financing or joint-venturing on projects in Tanzania and creating other business opportunities.
Once again, The Center Group congratulates the new President and wishes him and the country continued peace and economic progress.
