Psychology is a still a relatively new field of science, but an educational background in the field is great for managers, counselors, and more professions. From the science industry to the boardroom, there is increasing demand for working professionals that have a degree in  psychology.

And at College Choice, there is a belief that the best pathway forward to earning a degree while working is through online education. That’s why these three rankings were  created.

Christian Amondson, Managing Editor of College Choice, had this to say about the rankings and what a foundation in psychology would be useful in: “What could be more interesting and useful than a scientific understanding of human behavior? Whether you are an advertiser trying to make your product more desirable, a manager trying to inspire the best in your employees, or a criminal investigator trying to piece together the motive for a crime, an understanding of what makes people tick is going to make your job so much easier. It is also going to make you so much more valuable regardless of what line of work you  choose.”

All three rankings used similar criteria in order to research and build the rankings. The Most Affordable Online Psychology Programs, the Most Affordable Online Masters in Psychology, and the Most Affordable Online Masters in Counseling rankings all used tuition rate, financial assistance, time to finish the degree, academic reputation, and gainful employment after graduation. This information was culled using online education statistic sites and individual school’s  websites.
