In an interview with WebMD, President Obama conceded a critical pointabout his healthcare law: some enrollees in the troubled program may not be able to keep their doctor.

WebMD’s ‘Health Care Reform Expert’ Lisa Zamosky relayed several questions from average citizens to the president regarding access to doctors and hospitals. Obama shifted blame to private insurers saying the restricted access is, “pretty much true of any health insurance plan you got out there right now.”

In the course of his answer Obama made a casual, yet shocking admission:

“For the average person, many folks who don’t have health insurance initially, they’re gonna have to make some choices and they might end up having to switch doctors, in part because they’re saving money.”
