Sensory Inc., a Silicon Valley based company focused on machine learning techniques to improve the user experience and security of consumer electronics through state-of-the-art embedded voice and vision technologies, today announced that Samsung continues to utilize TrulyHandsfree™ technology to provide the industry’s best speech trigger and speech recognition experience on their Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge smartphones. Samsung continues to utilize Sensory’s TrulyHandsfree speech recognition engine embedded within their products to power speech commands that work all the time, even when no internet connection is  present.

Sensory has been Samsung’s longest standing speech recognition technology provider, with technologies shipping on Samsung Galaxy smartphone products since the arrival of the S2 back in 2011. Sensory’s TrulyHandsfree technology has been on every Samsung Galaxy smartphone product since the S2, including the recently announced Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. Additionally, TrulyHandsfree enables a seamless touch-free experience on Samsung’s Galaxy Note tablets, beginning with the original Note launched in 2011, to the current Note 5, as well as on the Galaxy Gear and Galaxy Gear S2 smart  watches.

“Samsung became the world’s largest smartphone manufacturer by offering the best features and best user experience and Sensory is proud to help make that experience possible,” said Todd Mozer, founder and CEO of  Sensory.
