The Death Spiral – Obamacare, Republicans, and the Healthcare Vortex

Read Time:5 Minute, 5 Second

Earlier this month details emerged about the Republican plan to deal with the monstrosity that is the United States healthcare system. It doesn’t take much more than a handful of functioning brain cells to notice that under the Obama regime the Republicans in Congress voted to repeal Obamacare whenever they wanted to score some cheap political points. A large proportion of Americans found the state of their healthcare to be repugnant in price, options, and political demagoguery. The lack of accountability unveiled by the infamous ‘if you like your plan, you can keep your plan’ and ‘if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor’ propaganda is historically  astounding.

But I  digress.

Now that the GOP bigwigs (read: compromised cowards cloaked in red) have an opportunity to provide a real solution, you’d imagine that since they have been thinking about this for more than half a decade they would have a broad array of market-based, capitalistic, freedom-restoring initiatives to bring to the  table.

Thanks for  playing.

At this point anyone who still believes in the authenticity and desirability of the current two-party apparatus is either willfully blind, hopelessly naïve, or incapable of robust critical thought. Turns out each establishment party has spent decades figuring out the best ways to hammer each other on their flaws, often accurately and to great effect, while retaining a permanent blind spot to the drastic shortcoming in their own ideologies. It’s a fantastic and even entertaining charade until a glimpse of broader reality renders it  sickening.

The plan was single payer. Obamacare was the bridge to strip mine the healthcare system in order to initiate a death spiral crisis that would lead the way into total government control. Hillary Clinton was supposed to be in a position to impose socialized medicine. Things were going along quite smoothly. Insurers were packing up and deserting markets all over the nation. They didn’t care because they were paid off through the risk corridor language in the legislation. Prices accelerated dramatically for years, redistributing a massive amount of wealth. The last legs of the system have been reached, and the knockout punch was just around the  corner.

Why this path down Lunacy Lane? For a group that claims to be totally driven by empirical evidence, solidified science, and robust reasoning they curiously continue to ignore all of the real-world conclusions concerning the broad spectrum failures of such programs where they have been imposed. The truth is, facts don’t get in the way of ideologues. Many may simply be altruistic yet immeasurably foolish because of the transformation from education to indoctrination. However, these psychopaths generally know what they are doing and are willing to sacrifice virtually anything in order to arrive at their objectives. This is Marxism: the ends justify the  means.

They were going to sell a technocratic utopia by pitching sustainability and science. The shadow goals were depopulation, eugenics, and neo-feudalism. When we abandon God and elevate humanity as the sole arbiter of truth and morality we get genocide. That is the lesson of the 20th century. Yet here we are in the 21st, and things didn’t go completely according to plan. A renegade real-estate mogul billionaire seized on something utterly unexpected. The Marxists went too far, too fast. They drank their own  Kool-Aid.

Now there’s a different  problem.

The proposed solutions are currently more or less a first draft consisting of window dressing. The establishment Republican leadership is filled to the brim and overflowing with cowards, sellouts, and patsies. They have long since been completely compromised by the tyrannical globalists and have been compliant because they’ve been granted a seat at the table – a healthy dose of blackmail and bribes are in play as  well.

President Trump has a rather narrow window to provide actual solutions for the American people and to garner the political will necessary to unite the nation. We the people of all political predispositions understand instinctively that most things in our country are broken and that applying a new coat of paint simply isn’t going to cut  it.

While it may not even be possible to encounter and to comprehend the extent to which our institutions have been damaged, solutions will be demanded vigorously. Some will oppose even a perfect plan because of the man proposing it. They are irrelevant fools. We must marshal our focus to support our President because it is abundantly clear that only a true outsider – not a Manchurian candidate like our previous fearless leader – would ever be capable of cleaning out corruption and reinstituting basic  sanity.

If only it were that  easy.

So many have miscalculated and underestimated President Trump because they are seeking to impose previous political norms onto someone who operates according to entirely different protocols. Our President is a negotiator. Expect significant revisions to any major legislation as it is developed. Expect him to be accused of flip-flopping and of being disorganized. Expect no shortage of internal resistance from  traitors.

Most importantly, expect enough from yourself to play whatever part you can in this process. Expect involvement. Expect to be vocal and courageous. Expect opposition. Expect it to dissolve in front of you as you peacefully carry forward the torch of truth and  liberty.

Either expect greatness or expect the tyranny that will ultimately result from our failure to stand up and be  counted.
