A Tax Adviser’s Case Against Cain’s 9-9-9

Recently, Kevin Price, Host of the Price of Business and Publisher/Editor in Chief of the US Daily Review interviewed Robert Loeser, a tax adviser, and the topic turned to presidential candidate Herman Cain’s 9-9-9 plan.  This plan is a flat 9 percent income tax, 9 percent corporate tax, and a 9 percent national sales tax.  The plan has caught on in political circles and dominated much of the recent debate in New Hampshire this past week.  It is full of great “sound bites” for TV and news stories, but will it work in the real world? Robert Loeser has decades of experience as a tax adviser and is also politically savvy, he provided some interesting insights in to the problem with 9-9-9 on a recent program:
