INTERVIEW ON THE PRICE OF BUSINESS SHOW, MEDIA PARTNER OF THIS SITE.

Recently Kevin Price, Host of the nationally syndicated Price of Business show and editor on this website, interviewed David Finkel.

In today’s fast-paced world, aspiring entrepreneurs are apt to neglect all other aspects of life in favor of their businesses. It’s not uncommon for business leaders to put in 72-hour weeks, spread out over six — or even all seven — days. This dedication to only one half of the work/life balance means family, relationships, and even self-care can be unfairly sacrificed in the pursuit of a career. But in The Freedom Formula, Maui Mastermind’s David Finkel offers a strategy for business success without devoting every waking hour to work. It’s a radical new approach to restructuring priorities and time to reclaim hours of the day, creating more value in less time.

The Price of Business is one of the longest running shows of its kind in the country and is in markets coast to coast.

The long awaited book on the challenges people face when it comes to “New Rich” books was released today by USA Business Radio. It was written by US Daily Review Editor and Chief, Kevin Price.

Briefing Wire reports:

Robert Kiyosaki of Rich Dad Poor Dad fame considers Kevin Price an authority in financial freedom, stating:
“The world is changing too fast to be listening to people who have no idea what they’re talking about, so listen to Kevin Price. He’s into real financial education.”

“Making ‘New Rich’ Books Work for You” is by nationally syndicated radio host and multi-award winning journalist, Kevin Price. It is being published by USA Business Radio. It has been described as “The Missing Link” in “New Rich” literature.

So was the critically acclaimed book “The Four Hour Work Week” by Tim Ferriss a waste of time? Was Ferris the only one that profited from it? For most it seems to be merely a “good read” and little else.

Kevin Price, Host of the nationally syndicated Price of Business show read the book by Ferris THREE TIMES before seriously implementing it. He had nothing to show for it from his earlier attempts, but he kept going back to it. He wanted it to work, but couldn’t figure out how to make it work for him.

RELATED: KEVIN PRICE INTERVIEWS RICH DAD POOR DAD AUTHOR, ROBERT KIYOSAKI. RICH DAD POOR DAD IS THE BIGGEST SELLING FINANCIAL BOOK OF ALL TIME

Then something happened — he was sick and tired of 60 hour work weeks, always exhausted, and of the sense of being on a constant hamster wheel. He was at the point where he had to implement the Tim Ferriss approach or find something else to do for a living. After reading it one more time, he decided to take it seriously action. He decided to treat it as if it COULD work. He took a cavalier approach, which included some reckless abandonment, and the results were very positive.

In February 2016 Price decided to treat “The Four Hour Work Week” as a blueprint, and not just a clever book. In less than 60 days:

* Price had gone from 60 hour work weeks to less than 10 hour work weeks

* In 90 days he saw a marked increase in his income and made over 20 percent more that year, while cutting his hours by over 60 percent

* He found that by replacing his efforts with systems and automation brought an end to the years of uneven performance based on his whims or even how he felt. Systems and automation are always up for working.

Looking at the news and opinion out of London each day.

7-27-19

The Lib Dem revival could be the Tories’ best hope of winning an election

When the leadership result was announced, Jeremy Corbyn’s keyboard warriors swung into action. Behold, they said: a new party leader whose track record involved overseeing years of austerity, voting for tax cuts for the super-rich and pursuing a neoliberal agenda. As for Boris the man, the Corbynites didn’t seem to mind him so much. It’s Jo Swinson, the new leader of the Liberal Democrats, who is enemy number one.

7-26-19

The new Boris machine owes very little to Westminster

Until now, new Prime Ministers have always arrived in 10 Downing Street accompanied by the team they built around them in Parliament. But Boris Johnson is different. He is the creature of two Blair-era inventions: devolution and referendums. The team he is building around him in No. 10 is from City Hall and Vote Leave, where he was able to pioneer a new style of politics and government.

7-24-19

Boris must make up for the three years squandered by Theresa May

How will history judge Theresa May’s period in Number 10, which comes to an end today? Her tenure of three years and 12 days is not the shortest of recent times, having surpassed that of Gordon Brown, and is only marginally behind James Callaghan’s. She is the second woman to occupy the post – both Tories, it should be said – and the fourth Conservative prime minister in succession laid low by Europe.

As he becomes PM, new Tory leader knows he has to unite his party – and deliver Brexit

SIR – I feel energised now that Boris Johnson is to be in charge. His enthusiastic, optimistic approach is infectious and it is long overdue.

I’m not particularly political, but I vowed not to vote Conservative again, after the Brexit agreement imposed by Theresa May at Chequers. Now maybe the Tories will get a second chance from me and many like me.

Recently they discussed the Supreme Court’s decision to not address the issue of gerrymandering that has fostered political polarization around the country. Price and Kaplan visited on this topic, that has received do much attention from politicians and others from around the country.

US Senator Michael Bennet (D-CO) said in a statement “Extreme partisan gerrymandering distorts the reciprocal relationship between citizens and their elected officials, which is the foundation of our self-governing democratic republic… Prohibiting this partisan practice is one of the most significant ways we can begin to fix our broken political system. This week’s Supreme Court decisions failed to answer important questions on gerrymandering that can only be resolved if voters have standing to challenge their state’s extremely partisan maps. This bill is the first step to enable citizens to regain control of their government.”

Meanwhile in the US House, Congressman John K. Delaney (D-MD) has weighed in, noting “Gerrymandering, low voter turnout and a broken primary system have warped Congress and encouraged extreme partisanship that is hurting the country and blocking smart legislation. Right now, in too many districts, the only election that matters is the party primary and that means a small and disproportionately partisan percentage of the population has an outsized influence on Congress. The American people are deeply frustrated because they can see that Congress just doesn’t reflect the country’s priorities. The Open Our Democracy Act ends partisan gerrymandering nationwide, helps more people vote by making Election Day a holiday and creates open top-two primaries. This is a comprehensive reform bill to ensure that the districts are fair and that all voters are heard.”

Although both sides are guilty of this practice (and have members concerned about it), we could not find statements from Republicans about reform legislation on a federal level, largely because they believe this should be left to the states, as a guiding principle.

By the Price of Business Show, Media Partner of USDR.

It is odd, just a couple of months ago there was near around the clock coverage of a migration that began in Central America in the dozens, then hundreds, and now in the thousands. Then there seemed to be a period of near silence, and the next thing you know we have the crisis that has taken place in the border with Mexico.

If you watch news coverage about the situation, one would think this has always been the case, or the “zero tolerance” policy of the Trump Administration is just the latest chapter in immigration (and a terrible one at that). In other words, the problems at the border are being treated as in a vacuum, but it is part of a much larger immigration problem.

VOA recently reported:

“The U.N. refugee agency expresses alarm at what it says is a significant increase in the number of people fleeing violence and persecution in Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador.

“The agency reports more than 294,000 asylum seekers and refugees from Honduras, Guatemala, and El Salvador were forced to flee their homes in 2017, a 58 percent increase from the previous year.

“It says the vast majority have fled to Belize, Mexico, and the United States, and increasingly to Costa Rica and Panama in search of refugee protection.”

Many countries in the world would treat such a mass movement of people like an invasion. It is only because Mexico (and other countries to its south) knew these migrants were ultimately heading to the US that they allowed them to continually come through. They were passing the problem of a mass migration of illegal immigrants to the US.

Recently USDR Editor in Chief and Host of the Nationally Syndicated show, the Price of Business, discussed the crisis at the border on his radio show. Here that interview below:

For many years the US has had a flimsy approach of letting migrants in and sorting them out later. That approach never worked and is now particularly dangerous when looking at almost 300,000 heading to the United States in one year alone. It made zero sense to allow an influx of individuals in and then sorting the situation out later. That only gave people an incentive to illegally head to the US.

Although the current policy must change — there has to be a way of stop them from entering without separating the families — there needed to be a deterrent to the continued mass movement of people towards US borders. If the US allowed this massive influx of immigrants, it certainly would have encouraged others throughout the region to make a similar dangerous migration. The movement of illegals through Central America to the US is the culmination of stories of death, danger, kidnapping, sex trade, and other horrors. Yet, it is obvious that we could have had the same impact, without the separation policy.

In the end, with all of the anger about the President’s policy, the American people and the media have to acknowledge that this was one of the major policies proposed by candidate Trump in the 2016 presidential campaign.

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) said this week that President Donald Trump’s “zero-tolerance” policy is completely in line with what Trump campaigned for in 2016. Rubio was one of Trump’s primary opponents.

“‘Well, first of all, I think he (Trump) campaigned on it and was elected on it,’ the Florida Republican stated about his onetime presidential campaign rival. ‘Whether you agree with him or not, to the extent that what he is doing now is consistent with what he promised he do if elected, I think people have to acknowledge that.'” This policy was part and parcel of what Trump ran on. There needs to be a third way, one in which US borders are protected, yet we do not destroy families heading to the US. It would be a huge mistake if the US went back to its old approach of “let them in and sort them out later.”

According to an article by Ambrose, “Ask Americans whether they belong to the middle class and the answer is likely to be yes. In fact, 70% of adults identify as middle class, according to a recent online survey by Northwestern Mutual—a figure that has held steady for years.

“Yet today, only 50% of adults actually live in middle-class households, according to the Pew Research Center. That percentage has been steadily shrinking since 1970, when 61% of adults were considered middle class.”
