With today marking the 12th anniversary of September 11, the conservative Young America’s Foundation (YAF) is holding its annual”Never Forget Project” on over 100 college campuses. The goal is simple; to help “students across the country properly remember the anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks.”

While there are more than one-hundred schools participating in the annual event there are some prominent schools that remain absent from the list. Five of the eight Ivy League schools – Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Brown, and the University of Pennsylvania – have not announced plans to participate in the “Never Forget Project.”

Harvard

has no official 9/11 memorial event – but found time on Sept. 11 to host a “Politics of Transitions in the Middle East” event. Likewise, instead of holding an official 9/11 event,
Brown University found time to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Chilean coup and the  University of Pennsylvania is hosting an event entitled “The World In Posts.”
