Obama Contradicts 'You Didn't Build That' Remark in State of the Union Speech

I had a field day this morning combing through our president’s 2014 State Of The Union speech and have found a nugget I felt like sharing with everyone. Apparently, Pres. Obama contradicted one of his most famous claims from his last campaign.

 

 

In his recent  State Of The Union remarks about equal pay for women, President Obama said:

In his recent  State Of The Union remarks about equal pay for women, President Obama said:

 

 

“We don’t resent those [men and women] who, by virtue of their efforts, achieve incredible success.”

 

 

But, Obama famously slammed entrepreneurs when he spoke off-the-cuff at a re-election campaign stop in 2012 when he said:

 

 

“If you have got a business, you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.”
