Tom Price, M.D. (R-GA) to be the next Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS). Dr. Price currently serves on the Ways and Means Committee and is Chairman of the House Budget  Committee.

“Congratulations to my friend and colleague Tom Price on being selected to lead the Department of Health and Human Services,”Chairman Brady said. “Whether in the operating room or on the House floor, Dr. Price has dedicated his career to saving lives and improving health care for Americans from all walks of life. Dr. Price’s unique experience, clear understanding of health and budget policy issues, and strong work ethic have been invaluable assets to our Committee. Tom’s leadership will ensure that the Department of Health and Human Services delivers real results for the American people, whether it’s improving the way we access health care or reforming key programs designed to assist the most vulnerable.
