The book, Throne of Fire, by Rick Riodran, is the second book in its series. The third (The Serpent’s Shadow) got out on May first of this year. It, like most of Rick Riodran’s more recent books, has a glossary. It has mainly a lot of mythology. It also has as many twists and turns as a snake, or a serpent. It is narrated by two siblings, an older brother and a younger sister. I would give it just under four out of five stars. It is more appropriate for younger teenagers. If your 13 or 14, this is a book better for you. It takes place in New York, Russia, and Egypt. I would love to receive your comments!
