Brisbane Airport has been named Australia’s number one airport in the Skytrax World Airport Awards for 2019, and there’s there’s no question why. With 297 projects that include a terminal expansion and self-service and bag drop upgrades, the airport is also expecting a new runway to open in 2020. The new runway will take the runway system to even higher levels of efficiency, and allow the airport to have the highest capacity of any airport located in the Southern hemisphere.

This includes a unique bicycle-powered phone charging station, multiple dining options, and free shower facilities. San Diego International

When it comes to the best airports in the United States, San Diego International Airport, located in San Diego, California tops national lists. With a plethora of amenities and restaurants, the airport is commended for its record of on-time flights, friendly staff, and it’s close proximity to downtown. Rated the world’s best airport for the seventh consecutive year by Skytrax, Singapore’s Changi Airport can make any traveler forget they’re even in an airport. In terms of efficiency, there’s a concept of “Fast and Seamless Travel,” or FAST, put into place, which makes the travel process as stress-free as possible. The Singaporean airport is also equipped with the world’s first butterfly garden (in an airport) and provides a peaceful and relaxing place to get away from the hustle and bustle of traveling.
