“New York City is one of the fastest growing technology markets in the country,” says Matt Miller, CTO of CyberCoders. “As the leading technology recruiting firm in the nation, CyberCoders can see which jobs are in the highest demand. Existing companies are continuing to grow their technology staff while others, like Google and Twitter, are launching large new office spaces in the city. For this reason we are seeing a significant demand for various types of web development, as well as candidates who manage projects and the sales team to support those efforts.”
CyberCoders recently expanded its offices into New York City to serve the growing technology sector there, according to Hedi Golledge, CEO and founder of CyberCoders.
“With more than a decade of experience placing the foremost technology candidates in the nation in some of the most coveted positions in the industry, CyberCoders noticed a need for more technical recruiting talent in Manhattan,” Golledge says. “We have opened an office in New York, so we can continue to provide an even higher level of service to the thousands of clients and candidates we already have in the tri-state area. New York is quick becoming a popular location for start-ups and venture capitalists. CyberCoders has seen an increase in technology jobs in and around the tri-state area, with a 33% increase in technology jobs since 2010.
“In 2012 there will be a strong demand for candidates who have a variety of skills, for example someone with experience in multiple technologies can be very enticing for a smaller company looking to hire a technology team that can work on a number of web-based solutions,” says Miller. “In addition, the need for technology professionals in all industries has also had a positive impact on hiring in New York.”
