Former Network Executive on the Dramatic Departure of CBS News’ President

INTERVIEW ON THE PRICE OF BUSINESS SHOW, MEDIA PARTNER OF THIS SITE.

Recently Kevin Price, Host of the nationally syndicated Price of Business Show, interviewed Jeremy Murphy.

On a recent Price of Business show, Host Kevin Price visited with former CBS Television Vice President Jeremy Murphy of the shocking resignation of the President of CBS News.

CBS News President and CEO Wendy McMahon resigned today amid fallout from a $20 billion lawsuit filed by Donald Trump over a 60 Minutes interview with Kamala Harris. Her departure follows growing tensions over journalistic independence and corporate pressure, especially as Paramount seeks federal approval for a merger with Skydance. McMahon cited disagreements over the company’s direction. Her exit comes weeks after 60 Minutes producer Bill Owens stepped down, and correspondent Scott Pelley criticized leadership publicly. CBS executives Tom Cibrowski and Jennifer Mitchell will now report directly to Paramount co-CEO George Cheek.

According to a statement, “Jeremy Murphy is a sarcastic, embittered veteran of the media industry. Founder of 360bespoke, a respected boutique PR agency in New York, Murphy handles a full roster of clients in the lifestyle, beauty, fashion, and start-up fields. Previously, he was Vice President of Communications at CBS, where he worked for 14 years. There, he oversaw PR for many of its divisions and created its glossy magazine Watch. Murphy started as a journalist, working with Knight Ridder newspapers and Mediaweek. He is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University and lives in New York with his cat, Champers.”
