8 Quick and Easy Summer Beverages for the Family

With summer around the corner, it is the perfect time to spend some quality-time with friends and family. Whether it’s a formal gathering or casual get-together, calls for a round or two of beverages to make the moment a memorable one.

1. Homemade Lemonade

2. Tropical Smoothie

Another favorite of ours is this homemade tropical smoothie. It is full of vitamins and flavors. To make it, we used a mixture of pineapple juice, orange juice, coconut milk. Then, we added the fruits such as: banana, mango, pineapple, along with some lime juice and lime, vanilla yogurt, and vanilla extract! The result is to die-for!

You can make this smoothie in the morning or prior to work-out. Also, feel free to add some protein to it, or mix in other fruits.

3. Tropical Orange Punch

Sure, sipping soda is good, but you just can’t beat the taste of tropical fruits in the summer. The variety of flavors makes this tropical orange punch a cold beverage that really stresses the “punch” part. It almost punches you awake with how refreshing it is!

To make it, you need strawberry syrup, pineapple juice, some Florida orange juice, and an orange wedge to complete the drink. Also, if you want to make it adults-only, feel free to add some of your favorite spirit to it. 

4. Raspberry Peach Iced Tea

Looking for a drink that’s yummy, invigorating, easy to make, as well as ‘Instagrammable’? Look no further. The colorful blend of this fruity iced tea will make you forget about the gloom of rainy days. Make it using your favorite green tea, some raspberries, peaches, and a few tablespoons of agave nectar. For the garnish, use one or two mint leaves for every glass.

5. Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie

This smoothie is as delicious as it is healthy, so don’t hesitate to make it for your kids. With ingredients such as vanilla soy milk, vanilla yogurt, honey, and fruits, you just can’t fail. The entire recipe does call for a few cups of frozen banana slices, some peanut butter, and pineapple chunks.

The sweet yet slightly tangy taste of mango makes this mocktail so deliciously indulgent that it’s sure to make every family member a fan. You can make it with either fresh mangoes or frozen ones, just don’t forget the vanilla ice cream for extra creaminess.

7. Moscow Mule

This is a great drink for adults to enjoy during a pool or birthday party. Moscow Mule is made with only a few ingredients. All you need is a few minutes of your time, along with vodka, fresh lime juice, ginger beer, lime wedge and mint for garnish. Then, simply mix the ingredients up, and you are good to go!

8. Peppermint Shake

Green sanding sugar may not be easy to find, but it’s really the cherry on top for this delicious, minty shake. To make it, use a generous serving of vanilla bean ice cream, some milk, a third of a teaspoon of pure peppermint extract, and a tiny drop of green gel food coloring.
