College Students Hold ‘Die-In’ for Michael Brown, Complain of ‘Sensationalism of the Protests’

Reading Time: 1 minute

Video-MRCTV visited a Michael Brown “Die-In” at George Washington University, where several dedicated activists laid out in the cold and drizzle to protest what they view as the unjust decision not to indict Officer Darren Wilson. Some of the “dead” couldn’t help but check their cell phones during the event, which diminished the power of intended message.
One organizer of the “Die-In” complained to MRCTV about the “sensationalism of the protests” and the way they’re portrayed.
