Elections Matter

Recently Kevin Price, Host of the nationally syndicated Price of Business Show, interviewed John D. O’Connor.

As we now reflect on the success of American bombing of Iran’s nuclear enrichment sites, we should have precautionary thoughts as well as celebratory ones. Donald Trump barely won the last election, with 115,000 votes of changed selection giving us President Kamala Harris. Harris never would have bombed Iran and her instincts would have been to restrain Israel. If and when Iran got the bomb under a Harris presidency, likely right around now, the world would be changed dramatically for the worse. If not for Trump’s diving ninth inning catch, America would ultimately face an Iranian controlled Middle East, a stronger Russia and China in alliance with Iran, no Israel and no independent Taiwan with its AI chips. American would ultimately face either a nuclear war with China or our slow encirclement and strangulation. Even today in our safer world, we still face sleeper cells of Iran and China embedded because of Biden’s feckless border policies. So let us thank our lucky democratic stars that Trump had the guts to continue to seek election and Biden was as reckless as he was in continuing to seek election.
