Klick Health today released original footage of the Philadelphia Phillies, Philadelphia76ers, Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia Flyers giving ALS Ice Bucket Challenge Co-Founder Pat Quinn a surprise video tribute in a show of brotherly  love.

In town late last week to share his story with health professionals at Klick MUSE Philadelphia and help kick-off ALS Awareness Month, Quinn was blown away by the  tribute.

“It was an incredible moment,” he said. “I thought I was done on stage, but the next thing I knew I was watching members from everyPhiladelphia sports organization welcoming me to Philly and thanking me for the work I’ve done for ALS. Their support means so  much!”

In the video, Eagles’ long snapper Jon Dorenbos said, “We wanted to give you a warm welcome to Philadelphia and let you know that myself and the entire organization (are) super proud of what you’ve done to raise money and awareness for ALS. We love you guys.”

Phillies’ third baseman Cody Asche called Quinn “a champion for ALS,” while 76ers’ CEO Scott O’Neil thanked Quinn for “all you’re doing for ALS. You are making a difference and it  matters.”

Phillies’ pitcher Cole Hamels, Flyers’ defenseman Nick Schultz and alumnus Todd Fedoruk also participated in the tribute. The video can be viewed on  YouTube.

A former rugby player and big sports fan from Yonkers, NY, Quinn’s life changed in March 2013 when he was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) at the age of 30. In July 2014, he helped start the biggest movement in ALS fundraising history, co-founding the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, which raised over $220,000,000 globally for ALS  research.
