Progressive Group Think: Trump’s Immigration Executive Orders

Read Time:5 Minute, 35 Second

Even though it wasn’t one of his campaign promises, Trump has been able to make his political opposition resort to tears in less than two weeks. Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) was unable to hold back his emotions while making a statement in response to Trump’s latest executive order on immigration. Schumer is perhaps best known for his uncanny ability to be permanently looking down his nose at the American public because he is unable to line his glasses up with his own eyes. He appeared distraught by the executive order, which he decried as mean-spirited, but let’s give Chuck the benefit of the doubt. Those were probably real tears, but they were likely brought on by the total dismantling of the agenda Schumer and his comrades have been implementing. Next stop: term limits and a trip to the  optometrist.

It’s even become blasé to note the hypocrisy in Chuckie’s fraudulent outrage and emotional affectation since he supported Obama when he undertook similar measures. Also, many have pointed out a distinct lack of waterworks following 9/11. This is a man who has promised to oppose every single thing that Trump does a priori without question. He is now another progressive casualty in the meme wars and an outright joke. Maybe Chuck is trying to follow in the footsteps of his comedian relative Amy Schumer? The pressing point here is that the Deep State political opposition and the obsolete media are bending over backwards to reveal their true colors in response to this executive  order.

They call it a Fascist, Anti-American, Unconstitutional, Islamophobic Muslim Ban. Have they even read the actual order itself? Do they think that they can continue getting away with firing up the propaganda engines and creating their false reality? Do they realize that they are being  played?

President Trump, in fulfilling his campaign promise to suspend immigration from areas of known terrorist activity until a proper vetting process can be established, is continuing his strategy of turning on the flood lights and watching the roaches scatter. It is not possible for simultaneous protests to erupt the way that they did in response to this executive order without extensive coordination, funding, and organization. When you see people shouting arbitrary, meaningless slogans at airports holding up signs that are labeled with George Soros NGO branding, you can get a better handle on the source of the manufactured  outrage.

Most Americans support Trump’s action and virtually all of the claims about the executive order made by the obsolete media are either outright false or maliciously exaggerated. How long will this same playbook continue to be put into action before those using it realize that they have been exposed? This is a bait and switch. Trump knows that he can’t be too aggressive in his posture against the obsolete media and the fifth column provocateurs because they will then be able to fall back on the First Amendment. However, by taking a list of countries put together by the Obama administration, enforcing the immigration laws that are already on the books, and prioritizing a common sense solution aimed at securing the American people first and foremost, Trump has baited his opposition into showing America who and what they  are.

They took the bait. They are running a 2007 playbook in 2017 and have still not discerned the changing of the tide despite their obliteration in this past election cycle. They are off-balance and are demonstrating that they prioritize identity politics, political correctness, and name calling above finding ways to implement real solutions to real problems that America faces. Where were the protests when the previous administration was bombing the countries now on this list? Where were the protests when the previous administration implemented immigration restrictions in similar fashion? Where were the protests when the previous administration orchestrated the conflicts that created millions of refugees in the first  place?

Cue the  crickets…

You’d think that these hacks would understand that if their attempts to demonize Trump during the campaign didn’t work then they won’t be more effective now that he is President. These factions have left their analytical abilities behind in favor of assimilation into the progressive hive mind. They are exposing themselves now through their response to Trump’s actions. They will devour their own. They are being overrun by the blitz of actions being taken to dismantle their utopian ideal. They lost, and they will continue to lose until they realize that they are destroying their own movement through their fanaticism. They are being told no for the first time, and they aren’t taking kindly to  it.

Silicon Valley will continue to run interference and whine from their own progressive bubble out in California. Perhaps the state’s campaign to secede from the US will succeed, and then in a few short years we’ll have to extend the border wall to California as well. It is true that plenty of tech companies require H-1B visas for skilled workers, but their incessantly pompous tantrums betray a lack of ideological continuity. Why is our educational system so bad that we have to go outside the country to accumulate the best engineering talent? How does a temporary restriction in order to put proper vetting practices in place harm these companies? Why does everyone seem to believe that the US Constitution applies to  non-citizens?

Between the sanctuary cities tug of war and these latest developments, there will be plenty more for the opposition to cry over in the near future. They are in total meltdown mode, and they won’t be able to stand for long. However, vigilance must be maintained. Desperate, power hungry cowards with substantial resources and no moral grounding other than their own emotions have a tendency to lash out desperately and violently when threatened. Right now, the threat to their agenda holds the power and they can’t handle it. They don’t have a contingency plan. Truth and justice will prevail. The adults are  back.
