TR Ludwig, a clean energy leader with over a decade of experience in the solar industry, co-founded Brooklyn SolarWorks in 2015 with a vision for a more sustainable New York City. The company, now boasting over 2,000 residential and commercial installations across the five boroughs, specializes in custom solar solutions, including their patented Brooklyn Solar Canopy, that maximize solar potential in dense urban environments like New York.
Ludwig discusses Brooklyn SolarWorks’ mission and impact, his insights on urban solar power, and the company’s plans for growth and expansion. T.R. Ludwig is CEO and co-founder of Brooklyn SolarWorks and Brooklyn Solar Canopy Co. and serves as Treasurer for NYSEIA. He focuses on sales, marketing, and finance, and helped pioneer solar lending in the Northeast. T.R. received his MBA from the Maastricht School of Management and was among the first solar professionals in the U.S. to become NABCEP Technical Sales certified.
