The Price of Business Digital Network and its partners (including have been aggressively looking for the best tools for tracking the worldwide effort to develop vaccines and treatments to combat COVID-19 (most commonly referred to as the coronavirus).  Of the various efforts the one we have been most impressed to this date is by the non-profit Milken Institute.

According to a recent statement from the organization “The Milken Institute is launching a resource to help the public and policymakers track progress in the development of treatments and vaccines for COVID-19.”

The tracker is impressive, easy to understand and available online at It is developed and maintained by FasterCures, which is part of the Milken Institute, with an Advisory Council that includes a Nobel Laureate researcher, former FDA chiefs, and industry leaders.

We seek to accelerate efforts to find new treatments or vaccines, amplify what’s working, hold the system and its players accountable, and expand the global discussion about how to create durable, long term solutions,” says Esther Krofah, executive director of FasterCures. “COVID-19 is putting that approach to the test. We hope to be a resource promoting effective approaches and strategies.”

The Milken Institute COVID-19 vaccine development and treatment tracker is made up of information from publicly available sources and will be updated regularly. In a separate statement the organization said the updates would be daily.  It will grow to include FDA-approved indications where applicable, as well as basic information about the focus and emphasis of each clinical trial.

The Milken Institute is seeking input on new treatments and vaccines that are in development. Please email with tips.  Meanwhile the Price of Business Digital Network is seeking information on other vaccine and treatment tracking platforms, please email with suggested resources.

According to its website, “The Milken Institute is a nonprofit, nonpartisan think tank that helps people build meaningful lives, in which they can experience health and well-being, pursue effective education and gainful employment, and access the resources required to create ever-expanding opportunities for themselves and their broader communities.”
