INTERVIEW ON THE PRICE OF BUSINESS SHOW, MEDIA PARTNER OF THIS SITE.
Recently Kevin Price, Host of the nationally syndicated Price of Business Show, interviewed Jennifer Marchigiani.
On a recent Price of Business show, Host Kevin Price interviewed Jennifer Marchigiani of Misfits Rehab in Auburn, Maine.
From rescuing worms as a child to caring for Maine’s most misunderstood mammals, Jennifer has spent over 25 years devoted to wildlife rehabilitation. Growing up, she saved everything from bees in pools to snakes in the yard, which led to working at Zoo Boise (1996–1999), where she gained hands-on experience with both native and exotic species. Her career expanded with 17 years in the pet industry and 4 as an emergency vet tech, deepening her knowledge of animal care, nutrition, and enrichment.
In 2002, she earned her Maine State Rehabbing permit and founded Misfits Rehab, specializing in insectivorous bats while continuing to care for all mammals in need.
A new relationship brought her to California, where she continued rehabbing new species, expanding her expertise once again. Eventually, life brought her back home to Maine, where she now celebrates over 20 years in the field. Each rescue and release brings joy and purpose, and she looks forward to continuing to learn and collaborate, and support other rehabbers around the world.
They discussed the vital role that wildlife rehabilitation plays in both environmental health and public safety.
