A wildfire spreading through San Bernardino County has burned more than 30,000 acres, threatening more than 30,000 structures, and forcing evacuations of more than 80,000 residents.
In response, Farmers Insurance® catastrophe claims representatives and agents have begun assisting customers with their claims and providing other aid. Farmers® has also deployed its Mobile Claims Center (MCC) and one of its Customer Care Vehicle’s (CCV) to help residents impacted by the fires.
“We are committed to helping our customers and area residents through this devastating situation,” said Keith Daly, chief claims officer for Farmers. “We urge those affected by this rapidly spreading wildfire to heed the evacuation warnings issued by emergency personnel.”
Those impacted by the fires, whether customers or not, can receive help with water and other sundries by visiting the MCC and CCV at the following relief sites:
- MCC: Sultana High School
- 17311 Sultana Street, Hesperia, California
- CCV: Jessie Turner Community Center
- 15556 Summit Avenue, Fontana, California
Farmers customers impacted by this devastating fire are encouraged to immediately file their claims at www.farmers.com, via the Farmers Insurance Claims app, or by calling the 24-hour claims center, 800-435-7764.
Farmers customers in the area who have damage from the conflagration can call their local agent or the 24-hour claims center for assistance.
