Add one more person in the race for the White House.  Controversial governor, Chris Christie (R-NJ) has officially put his hat in the ring.  This is how the media is treating that  announcement.

Though Governor Chris Christie has been a lifelong Bruce Springsteen fan, the presidential hopeful used the music of another New Jersey native Tuesday when he announced his bid for the Republican ticket: Jon Bon  Jovi.

Christie likely opted not use a Springsteen song fearing that the lifelong Democrat and critic of the Bridgegate scandal might disavow him as Neil Young did to Donald Trump earlier in June. NBC News: Christi on the Crowded GOP  Field

Chris Christie isn’t worried that he’ll be drowned out in the crowded GOP field for the 2016  nomination.

“I think the biggest problem with so many people is getting attention, and I’ve never had any problem getting attention,” the New Jersey Republican said in an exclusive interview with NBC’s Matt Lauer. “So I think I’ll do  okay.”
