Dan Abrams’ True Crime series “Live PD” is Back with a Different Name and Network

If you’ve missed A&E’s Live PD, you will love Reelz On Patrol. The show follows police officers around the world who work under the guise of civilians. It will feature ride-alongs with civilians, as well as commentary from law enforcement veteran Curtis Wilson, who previously appeared as a contributor on the A&E version. Live PD was canceled in the summer of 2020 after widespread protests against police brutality and racism. The show originally got picked up for 160 episodes at A&E, but the cable network pulled it due to racial tensions.

The hit show, which ended after two seasons, has come back under a new name and with a different network, and will air live on Reelz this summer. Hosted by Dan Abrams, On Patrol: Live will follow police officers on their daily work and will be similar to its predecessor.
