Congressman Kevin Brady released the following statement on the House passage of H.R. 1191, the Iran Nuclear Agreement Review Act of 2015 which requires congressional review of a nuclear deal with Iran.
“This bill ensures that Congress and the American people have their rightful say in reviewing any agreement on Iran’s nuclear program. We cannot allow the White House to rush into a bad agreement that trades sanctions for a future nuclear Iran that makes our world more dangerous.
“Iran does not have America’s best interests at heart and I, for one, will not accept any deal that could lead to a potential nuclear nightmare for America and our allies in the Middle East, like Israel.”
