Congressman Kevin Brady (R-TX) released the following statement on the President’s decision to veto Congress’ approved resolution to prevent the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) from implementing new union election rules that eliminate the 25-day waiting period.
“President Obama continues to put big labor ahead of America’s workers and local businesses. Ambush elections trample the rights of hardworking Americans and unfairly tilt the field in unions’ favor. I will continue to vote against any White House decision that hampers job creation and economic growth.”
