Pandora and Dress to Success Partner up

By PANDORA Jewelry, Special for  USDR

Today, PANDORA Jewelry, one of the world’s largest jewelry brands, announces a partnership with Dress for Success®, a global not-for-profit organization, as their official jewelry partner. Through the partnership, PANDORA will support Dress for Success and the women they help by committing to a $500,000 donation in 2016, plus donating PANDORA jewelry to Dress for Success boutiques across North  America.

“Jewelry has become much more than an accessory – it is an essential part of a woman’s ever-expanding desire to express her individuality, boost confidence and curate her authentic style,” says Charisse Ford, Chief Marketing Officer, PANDORA Americas. “Our partnership with Dress for Success will bring that experience to women who need it the most and showcases our belief in fostering every woman’s ability to  succeed.”

As part of Dress for Success’s Suiting Program, job-ready women come to Dress for Success by referral from a range of community-based organizations. Each woman works one-on-one with a highly trained volunteer personal shopper who helps her select professional attire and also provides support and encouragement as she prepares for her upcoming job interviews. Dress for Success provides each client with a career suit, cosmetics, footwear and now a piece of PANDORA jewelry. After a client finds work, she can return to Dress for Success for a full week’s worth of professional  attire.

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with PANDORA Jewelry as our official jewelry partner to further empower women to achieve economic independence,” said Joi Gordon, CEO of Dress for Success Worldwide. “That added piece of PANDORA jewelry is a finishing touch that will help women build the confidence they need as they successfully enter into the professional  world.”

The partnership is a natural fit with PANDORA’s mission for more than 30 years – to offer women across the world a beautiful universe of high-quality jewelry products at affordable prices, which combines the modern techniques for high-end jewelry production with centuries-old craftsmanship.  Love, care and attention to detail are bestowed upon each hand-finished piece from start to finish that brings to life the brand’s Danish design legacy and artistry while inspiring women to showcase their individual  style.

In addition to supporting the Suiting Program, PANDORA will sponsor various Dress for Success events throughout 2016. This includes the Dress for Success Give Confidence, Hope & Style Gala, taking place on Thursday, April 7, 2016, which celebrates women who have overcome adversity and continue to grow to fulfill a greater destiny. It also includes the Power Walk for Dress for Success, which is an international fundraising walk in more than 25 cities dedicated to the promotion of an active, healthy lifestyle for women and families.
