Well, well, well…
I apologize for being late to publish this week’s analysis, but I had to postpone commentary until the latest round of O-dramacare unfolded. Today the House Republicans failed to pass a bill that would have eliminated some provisions of Obamacare, tweaked others, and preserved several of the most politically popular aspects. Before I lumber back up on my soapbox and bullhorn a few choice speculations, I think some notes are in order:
The impact of the proposed legislation was essentially unknown
But, but the Congressional Budget Office scored the bill and found that it… Enough of that trash. When did the CBO suddenly regain its place as a thoroughly objective, completely nonpartisan, and impeccably accurate forecaster? These clowns get marching orders for the data points and then backsolve for the necessary inputs. Another fool’s errand taken as gospel. Ask yourself, dear reader, if you ever had a clear idea of not only exactly what was happening during this process but also how, if implemented, the legislation would impact the unspeakably complex disaster that is the American healthcare system. Obamacare was designed to fail; that’s old news. It certainly didn’t seem like the proposed replacement was going to deliver us into some utopia. Thus we are again reduced to core principles: more government = more problems.
The establishment Republicans are compromised gutter trash
So let’s get this straight: in 2010, 2012, 2014, and 2016 the message from the red states to their representatives was simple – get rid of Obamacare. The House certainly appeared to try their level best, having voted several dozen times to repeal or materially restructure the lethal leviathan. It looked good to their constituents even while they turned a blind eye to Obama’s unconstitutional rewriting of the law and the Supreme Court’s total abrogation of duty. Now when they have a President who would gladly sign off on fulfilling one of his primary campaign promises during his first hundred days, they fire off a dud worthy of a North Korean launching pad. Do not adjust your television set folks; they’ve always been as fake as a Federal Reserve Note.
The obsolete media is still a hive mind of ideologues and automatons
If you didn’t follow the breathless drama of the past few days, then consider yourself lucky. It’s hard to shake the feeling that in the deepest, darkest recesses of the CIA black sites that the solitary confinement cells are made entirely of monitors playing CNN without ceasing except for a break long enough to remember what silence is before it blares up again. Absolute torture. Many people in this world have nothing but disdain for the America that they see. Having never known what America should have been, their perspective becomes increasingly more difficult to castigate as time marches on. We will never be rid of these cretins until we all demand truth and reality rather than normalcy bias and propaganda disguised as virtue signaling. Absolutely revolting.
So how about some friendly speculation between friends?
It is possible that this entire charade was a crafty combination of useful distraction and artful counterintelligence. Of course, just because something is possible doesn’t make it reality despite a vigorous insistence to the contrary from over the hill postmodernists. However, it’s hard to shake the feeling that the only valid alternatives here are total chaos or purposeful tactical management. The obsolete media screeches that it is the former, so a thinking individual maybe forgiven for presuming that the latter is closer to the truth.
Still, the question remains: if this was all a perception management scheme then what is the ultimate goal?
We’re ready to go a bit further out on a limb, but perhaps we could start with the exposure of the establishment Republicans described here above as well as in previous articles. Perhaps Paul Ryan will end up taking the heat, but in either case the battle lines are being drawn both internally and in full view of the public. If we could finally do away with the charade of the current two-party nomenclature, then the stage might be set for a mass awakening. Such things are quite antithetical to the tyrannical, globalist elite who are behind the Deep State.
It feels like we’re inching closer to the point of no return.
I think we’ll all be amazed at how quickly the details of what transpired this week will become irrelevant. The next batch of news cycles is likely to be more significant than this nonpassage of a nonsolution. The real problems still rear their ugly heads, and when the focus turns it has a tendency to shift completely.
Does President Trump have absolutely no idea what he is doing? If you truly believe that then you likely haven’t read this far. Honestly that seems like a tremendously naïve and gullible view of the situation. Such oversimplifications are never accurate and are rarely even productive.
Maybe our President is playing the long game with several aces up his sleeve? After all, this entire scenario does have a certain ‘art of the deal’ flavor to it. Since even knowing clearly who is for and against him would represent a significant tactical improvement for President Trump, there may be something more to this than a first glance would suggest.
Keep your eyes open. It’s not over.
