The First Electric Mini Bike for Kids

Mongoose, a brand of Dorel Industries, Inc. (TSX: DII.B, DII.A), today announced the launch of the MGX 250, a rechargeable mini bike for kids eight to 12 years-old in search of fun riding  adventures.

The MGX 250 is Mongoose’s first 24 volt battery powered ride-on (BPRO) vehicle. Outfitted with two speed settings, seven miles per hour or 10 miles per hour, parents can control their child’s speed to ensure they learn to ride safely.  In addition, a rear disc brake provides responsive stopping power keeping young riders in control and feeling  confident.

“The Mongoose MGX 250 is perfect for kids who have outgrown their four-wheeled ride-on toy and are ready to graduate to something faster to release their inner speed demon,” said Steve Wilcox, Mongoose Marketing  Manager.

The MGX 250 features proprietary direct connect technology which makes charging the battery easier. A charge port is located on the outside of the vehicle for easy access rather than connecting directly to the  battery.

Available exclusively at Walmart and in time for the holiday season, the Mongoose MGX 250 will make a great gift. To learn more about the Mongoose MGX 250, please visit www.Walmart.com.
