Minimum Wage and Magical Thinking– There may be evidence that as minimum wage rises, the unemployment percentage grows higher. President Obama’s push to increase minimum wage might not have the good consequences that he’s  expecting.
The Shrinks Who Only See CIA Officers– Some analysts and terrorism experts from the CIA, Counterterroism Center, and NSA spend days viewing videos and images of beheadings and abuse. Surprisingly, they also watch a lot of porn. When it all becomes too much, there’s a team of therapists to counsel those who need emotional  support.
The Human Right to Water– If water is declared a human right, the mining industry will be in  trouble.
The Awful Mystery of Two Suicides in Missouri Politics– Two members of Missouri’s Republican party have committed suicide in the past few months. A GOP cooperative weighs in, saying that he believes it’s the Republicans’ approach to politics that had led to their early  deaths.
The Potential Upside to a Technology Bubble– Could a technology bubble be a sign of a healthy industry? It also looks like the amount of money going into seed-stage startups is  rising.
