A year-round destination less than two hours from major East Coast cities, Bermuda is an easily accessible, yet astounding vacation destination. Bermuda loves to party – the bigger the crowd, the  better.

  • Kick Off Summer In Proper Style. Bermuda Day (May 25)
    Celebrate the unofficial start of summer on Bermuda Day, when thousands of visitors and locals flock to the streets of Hamilton to participate in Bermuda’s rich heritage with a parade, music, dancing, and other festivities that stretch long into the night.
  • Don’t Stop The Carnival. Bermuda Heroes Weekend (June 12-15)
    Experience the first carnival-style celebration to ever grace the pink sands of Bermuda. Daily events include; food, music, a parade of bands, boat rides, breakfast parties, and “Pan In The Park” with international Steel Pan artists.
  • Hit the Beach. Cup Match Summer Splash (July 24-31)
    This signature island-wide festival is centered around the rival cricket match between St. George’s and Somerset (see below); Summer Splash includes free concerts, dance parties, and lots of food and drinks.

  • Bermuda, Ahoy! Marion – Bermuda Yacht Race (June 19-27)
    This historical Yacht race starts in Marion, Massachusetts and finishes in St. David’s Head, Bermuda. Here at the easternmost point of the island for the dramatic finish and celebrations.
  • Catch the Big One. Bermuda Billfish Blast (July 3-7)
    Watch top teams compete for catching the largest blue marlin during this three-day fishing event. The competition starts with a kickoff party at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess Hotel and there will be an open Bacardi Bar at the weigh station at the end of every day.
  • Get Some Wind In Your Sails. America’s Cup World Series (Oct. 16-18) 
    The America’s Cup will be held in Bermuda in 2017 but fans can get a glimpse of the world’s most prestigious sailing race this fall with the America’s Cup World Series event, where the best sailors in the world will compete on foiling, wingsailed catamarans.
  • Holiday Harbour. Christmas Boat Parade (Dec. 12)
    Dozens of boats decorated in bright lights cruise into Hamilton Harbour during the bi-annual Christmas Boat Parade. Boat designs and themes become more elaborate each year as participants compete in nearly 20 different categories including most original, best effort and most confusing.

Cheer on the  best!

  • The Ultimate Rivalry. Cup Match (July 30-31)
    The whole island cherishes these two days as a time for sport, entertainment, fun in the sun, and more. Residents come together as they cheer on their favourite cricket teams – Somerset from the west and St. George’s in the east—and see which side will take home that gleaming silver cup… and bragging rights for the next year.
  • Bermuda Scrum. World Rugby Classic (Nov. 8-14)
    Some of the world’s best rugby players will converge in Bermuda for this annual competition. Beyond the matches there will also be parties and concerts where fans can meet and mingle with their favourite players.
