Both Sesame Street and Bill Nye Receive Awards at 2015 Bammy Awards

On Saturday the Academy of Education Arts and Sciences announced the Bammy Award laureates and Bammy Edtech Award winners for 2015.  The announcement was made during a community showcase of the great things happening in schools across the nation. Several national associations participated in the showcase, including the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE), the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP), the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP),  the Association of School Business Officials (ASBO),  the American Association of School Administrators (AASA),  the National Association of School Nurses (NASN), the American Association of School Librarians (AASL), and the National Education Association (NEA). The showcase was hosted by Dr. Joe Sanfelippo and Dr. Tony Sinanis. Both are known nationally for encouraging educators to connect, collaborate and share their positive stories with the  world.

The 2015 honorees  are:
